A childhood Dream Come True

One fabulous surprise after another was our experience here at Casa Quintino. My husband set out to fulfil a childhood dream by giving me this most wonderful trip with friends. It was also the break in life and escape, much needed and deserved by all. The villa views breathtaking and awe inspiring to begin new chapters in our lives. From city to city the food, shopping, views and the architecture are more beautiful than the next.

Casa quintino, how can i describe it all!
it's magic- romantically hidden in olive groves and natural parkland. a rumplesilkskin kind of dream escape, rustic, tasteful, utterly unique. it's a real farm house, not an agriturismo-it's interestingly built, there's something unadorned and natural about it. The peace, the utter silence but for butterflies and birds... ah the fireflies after sunset... the mist soaked vally after dawn... It provided an unending array of memories.

Bacchus would have been delighted.

Deep in this Tuscan wonderland our daughter hosted the most romantic wedding since Mama Mia ... As parents we had the privacy of Casa Quintino whilst groups of friends who came from around the world could stay within walking distance in other farmhouses along the same road. Endless long meals at lovely reunions on the shady veranda overlooking pure arcadia. Litres of good cheap wine flowed and the charm of Casa Quintino was infectious. Bacchus would have been delighted.

For under $100 a night, you can drink in the Tuscan sun from your very own farmhouse. Close to the towns of San Gimignano and Volterra, Casa Quintino is about an hour from Florence, Pisa, and Siena. The renovated farmhouse retains its old world charm while offering modern amenities such as Internet access and modern bathrooms. The property includes a ruined Benedictine chapel, oak forests teeming with wildlife (and truffles!), and a natural spring.

The most amazing thing about this place, and it's really extraordinary given
how few opportunities there remain in Europe for escape to rural solitude-
is the remoteness of the location. It's accessible by car and only an hour
from several major cities, but when you get there you're surrounded by blue
hills, forest, olive trees, and peace and quiet as far as the eye can see.
Casa Quintino is a really charming, comfortable and tastefully furnished
house, well equipped with everything you'd need for a relaxing retreat,

the patio drinking wine overlooking the Tuscan
landscape, not another human sound.... heaven

The entire area, beautiful close to Voltarra where
great restaurants recommend anything with black
truffles.

Quintino: Quintessential repose

I am an Emergency doctor who was looking for a place to relax escape the
chaotic work environment. Quintino provided just that. Loaded up with
Tuscan food at nearby Volterra prior to arrival I had little incentive to leave
Quintino. Every amenity is provided from traditional Italian Moka coffee
maker to the sunblock.
